  • What we do

All learners are issued with a workbook to keep, with many training sessions linking to the Care Certificate. Learners under-going their Care Certificate can be issued with extra handouts/worksheets to complete after the course to help them provide knowledge evidence for their portfolio.

We understand the difficulties keeping track of staff training. We can help with pre-booking annual refresher courses and contact you 4 weeks prior to the session which will enable you to plan rotas in plenty of time.

Finding difficulty getting weekend staff and night staff trained? We offer weekend and evening training sessions to fit around you. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

  • Assessment and Certification

All training courses are fully accredited (excluding Medication Competency which is not accredited by Trainer Courses Ltd.) and valid for 1 year.

Assessment is via a question paper at the end of the session. Where practical sessions are required i.e. People Handling & First Aid there is also an on-going assessment throughout the session. Candidates must pass both the practical and theory assessments to receive a certificate.

The pass mark for all courses is 75%. Candidates who successfully complete the question paper will be issued with a Certificate. It is recommended that candidates repeat the course annually in order to stay up to date.
